Investing really doesn’t have to be complicated. Just about any reasonable plan will suffice if you stick with it, save enough money, and give it enough time.

I was looking through the Vanguard family of funds tonight and noticed the Vanguard target retirement funds with increments every 5 years. I would guess that you would think these funds are a little too aggressive with their equity distribution but it seems like a nice fund for me to just set a monthly contribution and forget about it for the next 30 years.
I don’t have any problem with the VG TR funds. I have used and recommended them to others before. You should, however, choose your fund based on the asset allocation, not the date in the name of the fund.
